The last 2 weeks Bekah hasn't been able to write to us very much. This week she had no time to write a long letter. She did talk to me a bit over email about how things were and I told her I would put into her blog.
She is very busy teaching the gospel, her spanish is getting much better everyday. She has falling in love with the people of Ecuador. She says they are so nice and wonderful. Her companion in the top left picture is about to go home. Bakah says she has been a good trainer but she is ready to go home. She heard on Monday she would be getting a new companion next week sometime since hers is leaving for home. Bekah is pretty excited. She hasn't explored her area very much, but is hoping this companion is more adventurous. She told me there are about 55 members in her ward. She said all but one or two are converts, she is loved by her mission leaders family. They have 6 kids and they love Bekah. It sounds like their family has been really good to her, which warms my heart. They kids wanted to know if she has seen any animals or bugs, she said yes. Monkeys, Iguanas, and lots of bugs. She said she has seen the most beautiful birds, like you would see in a movie. She says the food has been good so far. She loves all the fruit! I told her that so many people were praying for her, and loving her from here. She said she can feel our prayers, that she leans on them when she is feeling homesick. She loves teaching the gospel, she is loving Ecuador!!
